- Does everything have to be rewritten from scratch?
- Almost never. The usual approach is to upgrade in parts and replace modules one at a time, keeping the system in use.
- Do you use automated migration tools?
- Yes, for the mechanical part (for example OpenRewrite or AI assistants). What we do is what those tools don't solve: tests, verification, in-house dependencies and the production rollout.
